Launching the Western Suburbs Music Eisteddfod!

Welcome to the Western Suburbs Music Eisteddfod – Perth, Western Australia, dedicated to showcasing the talents of amateur and emerging artists.

 

Participants will be provided with their performance time during these Eisteddfod hours.

The Eisteddfod is held at Zenith Music – 309 Stirling Highway, Claremont, Western Australia 6010.

Sections

One Piece Per Section (Unless Otherwise Stated)

PIANO SECTIONS:

Piano – Novice (Students with less than 12 months’ tuition)

Piano – Solo (Classical Music)

Piano – Solo (Jazz Music)

Piano – Solo (Contemporary Music)

Piano – Recital (Two Contrasting Pieces)

INSTRUMENTAL SECTIONS (Includes Recorder, Harp, Strings, Woodwinds):

Instrumental – Solo (Classical Music)

Instrumental – Solo (Jazz Music)

Instrumental – Solo (Contemporary)

Instrumental – Recital (Two Contrasting Pieces)

Small Ensemble – Duets, Trios, Quartets, etc. (Maximum 9 performers)​

VOCAL SECTIONS (Backing Permitted):

Vocal – Solo (Classical Music)

Vocal – Solo (Jazz Music)

Vocal – Solo (Musical Theatre)

Vocal – Solo (Contemporary Music)

Vocal – Recital (Two Contrasting Pieces)

Small Ensemble – Duets, Trios, Quartets, etc. [including choirs] (Maximum 9 performers)

OWN COMPOSITION/ARRANGEMENT:

Please email a copy of the composition or arrangement (sheet music and midi tracks and/or performance) to patricia@curate.org.au by 15 August 2024.
