Voices From Broadway

This Voices from Broadway Series session is brought to you by the Broadway Teachers Workshop. The initiative kicked off as a result of Covid shutdowns across the USA and the world and facilitating the move to teaching online.

Hamilton Music Director, Ian Weinberger, focuses his session on teaching music remotely. Diving headfirst into lyrics and how to excel in your interpretation.

Ian Weinberger is the Music Director of Hamilton on Broadway and most recently served as Music Supervisor for The Secret of My Success (Universal Stage Productions) at the Paramount Theatre. Other Broadway credits include The Book of Mormon and Kinky Boots, A New Brain (Encores! Off-Center), Titanic (Avery Fisher Hall) and Nobody Loves You. His orchestrations of Titanic were recently heard in the Griffin Theatre Company production at Theater Wit in Chicago, as well as in productions in London, Tokyo and Toronto. Broadway/Off-Broadway orchestras: Rocky, Side Show, Chaplin, Little Miss Sunshine and Death Takes a Holiday. TV: Peter Pan Live and The Sound of Music Live (NBC). Proud native of Evanston and graduate of Northwestern University.
