Theatre Bridge is a five week program based in Sydney. This is an ‘audition only’ program designed to bridge from the student mindset to that of a professional working artist.

THEatre Bridge commences Friday 5th April 2024 and runs for five weeks. Classes run from Friday through to Monday.

Week One: 5th – 8th April / Week Two: 12th – 15th April / Week Three: 19th – 22nd April / Week Four: 26th – 29 April / Week Five: 3rd – 6th May

The Theatre Bridge course has been developed to be a bridge between performers who have graduated from training institutions, into their first experience in the professional industry. This involves graduates from a Bachelor Musical Theatre degree; full-time dance course; full-time acting course or degree; and newly professional represented performers.

The Theatre Bridge program cultivates the mindset of a professional artist. With the guidance of true Australian leaders in their respective theatrical fields, participants learn how to successfully present yourself as a readily employable musical theatre performer. This is a sustained program. The timeline enables participants to grow and develop skills throughout the course, with continued opportunities to put into practice the lessons over consecutive weeks. Performers in the THEatre Bridge program work directly in the room with industry creatives who have iconic status in the commercial theatre world.

The 2024 program is generously offering two scholarships this year for the first time to recognise and support emerging talent – The Rising Star Scholarship and The Exceptional Artist Scholarship in collaboration with Precedent Productions.
