APATA Member Spotlight: Sensorium Theatre
We have an absolute soft spot for Sensorium Theatre and their interactive theatre-making for children with disability and access needs.
Now you can create your own “Sensory Play @ Home” with Busy Busy, the story of a puppet character, JJ, and his busy family who are always rushing to get ready in the morning.
With 6 sensory play opportunities and utilising everyday objects found around the home, Busy Busy is a wonderful “follow-along” experience for you and those you care for.
You get to choose whether you enjoy the playtime in one 48minute session or over several sessions. This free online interactive “Playschool-style sensory story is perfect for educational play at home, school, in libraries or other educational institutions. Designed especially for children with a learning age of approximately 3-10 years.”
Currently Sensorium Theatre is raising funds to support the training of new performers and the Spinifex Foundation is matching every donation dollar for dollar. To help grow the Sensorium team find out how to donate HERE.
