Taking place on the lands of the Kaurna people, the APAM Gathering at will be held across the opening days of DreamBIG Children’s Festival. With a distinct focus on works for multigenerational audiences, the Gathering will invite participants from across the country and internationally to engage in a digital and IRL program of performance, dialogue and networking.
DreamBIG Children’s Festival is one of South Australia’s most loved and longest-running arts events for children, schools, and families, connecting multigenerational audiences through joy and fun.

APAM Gathering at Dream BIG Children’s Festival 2021 will feature Profiles highlighting the repertoire, ideas and ambitions of a number of Australian and New Zealand artists and companies.
Profiles are short presentations [5-10min in length] by artists, companies and presenters, to share information about new and existing projects and invite collaborative and potential partners.
There are two profile categories for artists and makers – HERE’S WHAT WE MADE & HERE’S OUR IDEA. With presenters able to apply to the HERE’S HOW WE WORK category.
APAM will notify all applicants of the outcome of their EOI by 12th March.

The APAM Gathering will focus on work for multi-generational audiences. With a focus on inclusivity and audiences’ experience, allowing for diverse cultural and community engagement.
