Applications for the Beyond the Studio: Early to Mid-Career Dance Fellowship are open.
The Beyond the Studio: Early to Mid-Career Dance Fellowship is a fellowship program delivered in partnership with Sydney Dance Company to support the development of emerging leaders in dance in NSW. A dance practitioner will be selected to undertake intense periods of engagement with the company over a 12-18 month period, supporting their career progression towards a future leadership role in the industry.

Applications for the Conductor: NSW Orchestral (Early Career) Fellowship are open.
The Conductor: NSW Orchestral (Early Career) Fellowship is a fellowship program delivered in partnership Sydney Youth Orchestras to support the emerging and early career professional practice of an orchestral conductor.
The successful applicant will be awarded $20,000 and will receive professional support with industry mentors to undertake broad-ranging professional development and orchestral fellowship program over 12 months (part-time) with the Sydney Youth Orchestras starting in July 2022. This will include conducting a range of rehearsals and professional concert performances in Sydney’s venues.

Applications for the NSW First Nations Creative Fellowship are open.
he NSW First Nations Creative Fellowship is a fellowship program delivered in partnership with the State Library of NSW and provides an opportunity for a NSW First Nations artist, knowledge holder or creative practitioner to undertake creative research that will work towards a presentation outcome at the State Library of NSW.
The successful applicant will be awarded $30,000 to conduct research and engage with the State Library collections, delving into subjects and materials from the Library’s NSW First Nations Collections. They will deliver a creative research project that engages the collection with a public outcome and must be completed in a 12 month period from July 2022.
The Fellowship is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live and work in NSW, with the aim of supporting an artist at any stage of their career – emerging, mid-career and established – who has shown dedication and a high level of commitment to their practice.
The Library’s Indigenous Collection Strategy guides the current collecting of material related to Indigenous peoples, particularly in NSW.
