New First & Forever First Nations Music Festival

Now that festivals and concerts are opening back up how about celebrating with some of Australia’s top First Nations Acts!

First & Forever – a new, day-long festival celebrating Blak excellence will converge on Victoria’s most spectacular stage on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples, The Gathering Place, Hanging Rock on Sunday 27 November for this landmark music event.

Hand-picked by Bad Apples Music founder, rapper and author Briggs (with a helping hand from Paul Kelly) the collected artists represent a dizzying procession of First Nations talent that is sure to rock your socks off.

Gates to the picnic-style event will open from 1pm, with music running into the night and finishing at 10pm.

Artists will be showcased in interwoven short, uninterrupted sets on one main stage, named ‘Uncle Archie Stage’ in honour of Uncle Archie Roach.

The First & Forever line-up features 20+ supreme talents – from acts at the top of their game to iconic, progressive trailblazers, song writing giants and jaw-dropping, effervescent party starters. Artists include: Baker Boy, Budjerah, Jess Mauboy, King Stingray, Sycco, Thelma Plum, Alice Skye, Busby Marou, Christine Anu, Dan Sultan, Electric Fields, Emma Donovan, Tasman Keith, Ziggy Ramo, Barkaa, demeeeeela, Jess Hitchcock, JK-47, Kardajala Kirridarra and Kobie Dee.
