Mountain Goat Mountain Now Available for Classrooms and Schools

After almost 3 years of entertaining and delighting families across the globe with its interactive theatrical form, Threshold is excited to announce the launch of their internationally acclaimed audio-theatre experience ‘Mountain Goat Mountain’ for schools!

Reimagined for accessible use by teachers with their students, ‘Mountain Goat Mountain’ is a 5-episode audio-theatre adventure that casts students as both the actors and the audience.

This immersive and interactive audio-narrative with a richly detailed soundscape is designed to bring artists into the classroom and enhance students’ learning experience.

Reimagined for classroom access

To accompany the ‘Mountain Goat Mountain’ experience, Threshold partnered with experienced Drama educator and researcher, Melissa Newton-Turner to create a detailed and flexible study guide that aligns with The Australian Curriculum Version 9.0.

The study guide, used as a whole unit of work or single lessons integrates Key Learning Areas including the Arts, HASS, English, Science and Technologies.

Combining theatrical innovation with educational intent, the combined ‘Mountain Goat Mountain’ experience is fun and user-friendly. “Access to meaningful connections between schools and the theatre industry is vital to authenticating the Arts experience in the classroom” says Melissa Newton-Turner.
