London International Music Competition
Posted by Team APATA | Jun 9, 2022
London International Music Competition was founded to make international music competitions more accessible by eliminating prohibitive travel costs, living expenses, and visa issues. This is possible because the application and adjudication are done online only. The competition is not intended to replace live music performance, but the competition hopes to increase awareness of classical music and music performance through this accessible international platform.
London International Music Competition is open to all musicians from around the world with a focus on classical music. It is dedicated to promoting musical culture under the banner of world peace and understanding among nations. The contest will be held in the following classical music disciplines: piano, keyboards, strings, wind instruments, percussion, voice, piano duo and chamber music. Each discipline is divided into different age categories. There is no age limit for participants.
The competition maintains a high artistic level by being judged by a jury made up of internationally renowned musicians.
In addition, London International Music Competition was has a strong educational focus. The competitor’s website, social media, and YouTube channel provide a free resource to the public. The performance videos will serve in place of the traditional live concerts that most competitions have to show the jury.
Helping our artists develop is at the heart of what the Competition stands for. We seek not only to discover the best young musicians in the world, but to nurture and cultivate their talents as broadly as possible and equip them for the rapidly changing world we live in.
